中秋节，是中国的古老节日，因为八月十五这一天是在秋季正中，所以称为中秋节。
Mid Autumn Festival is an ancient festival in China. It is called Mid Autumn Festival because August 15 is in the middle of autumn.
中秋节和新年一样，是举家团圆的日子。中秋之夜，月亮最圆、家家户户把瓜果月饼放在桌子上，一家人一边赏月一边吃月饼。
Like the new year, Mid Autumn Festival is a time for family reunion. On the night of the Mid Autumn Festival, the moon is the most round. Every family puts the melon and fruit moon cakes on the table. The family enjoys the moon while eating the moon cakes.
人们常说“月到中秋分外明”，这话不假，看!那月儿升起来了。圆得那样可爱，它先是金黄的，向上升着升着，它又成了白色的了!
It is often said that "the moon is particularly bright from mid autumn". This is true. Look! The moon is rising. Its so lovely. First its golden, and then its going up. Its white again!
