Chinese new year is a chinese traditional festival. we also call it the spring festival. it is on lunar january 1st.

on new year’s eve, all the people sit around the desk and have a big family dinner. there are some vegetables, some fish, some meat, some fruits and some drink like juice, coke, pepsi and some nice wine. overall, this is a good and delicious dinner. after dinner, we always watch tv new year progammes. we have a wonderful evening on new year’s eve.

on the first day of the spring festival, most of people get up early and say “happy new year” to each other. for breakfast, people often eat dumplings and baozi. after breakfast, people often make many delicious foods, and children often play cards, computer games and fireworks. on the second and third day, we visit friends and relatives.

everyone is busy on chinese new year, and everyone is happy, too.

反正街上五彩缤纷，各种各样的人都有，各种各样的货物都齐全，琳琅满目，人们恐怕想买什么都难选择!

春节前，家家户户都灯火通明，家家都把房子打扮得别具一格，各有各的个性。他们把买来的年货放得满地都地。买来的年画怎么贴法，那就各有自己的风格和喜好了。有的正着贴，有的倒着贴，还有的歪着贴，各有千秋。人们把买来的菜全部都弄好了，只等春节一到，就可一饱口福了。家家备有鞭炮，人们穿上新衣服，准备迎新年，在春节前，人们一出门，如果遇上了好朋友，总是口中不忘说一句：“上街啊!”

人们杀猪宰羊，忙碌地准备着春节大吃大喝一番。

春节到了，小朋友们便早早起床，来到爸爸妈妈的房间，开始了传统的拜年仪式了。小朋友们对父母说着一些吉祥话儿，爸妈就拿出压岁钱，让小孩子们高高兴兴。大家都希望今年能够吉祥如意，招财进宝。

一些亲朋好友欢聚一堂，品尝着美酒佳肴，谈着一些开心的话儿。而最高兴的则是我们，可以大把大把地攒取压岁钱，然后就欢天喜地跑到街上去买很多好玩的东西，如小汽车、四驱车、玩具枪、足球等，而我们只要嘴巴甜一点，多说些祝福的话儿，那可就大赚一笔了!

人们一直玩到深夜，嘴里啃着美味水果，手里燃放鞭炮烟花……大人小孩们载歌载舞，忘情地玩个痛快!

盼望着，盼望着，寒假来了，春节的脚步近了。

终于熬到寒假了，彻底解放了，我长长的嘘了一口气。从现在起我可以尽情的挥霍属于我的时间，不用在意老爸、老妈的“关注”的眼神，静静的享受属于我的那份快乐和自由。不用担心自己酣甜的美梦被可恶的“小公鸡”闹钟吵醒，不用担心自己在凄冷的冬晨背着沉沉的书包独自前行，不用担心自己在一盏孤灯的陪伴下完成“小山”似的家庭作业。

美中不足的是期末成绩考的不太理想，没有达到老爸老妈制定的目标，拿回的是一张“进步星”奖状而不是他们心目中的“三好学生”奖状。我春节的三个家庭梦想可能要破灭了：肯德基大餐没指望了，压岁钱要打折扣了，乔丹运动鞋不敢奢望了----- -

哎，看来这个寒假生活滋味似乎有点苦啊!一阵电话铃声响起，是妈妈打来的，她好想猜中我的心思，让我不要多想，笑一笑，一切都会过去的，没事到街上逛一逛。

我从储蓄罐里取了一点零花钱，走在大街上，似乎一切都感到很新鲜。平常稀松的大街，今天人突然“冒”出来很多，街道两旁也堆满了许多价廉物美的年货，自然迎来了很多行人的目光。最惹人注目的是：充满新年祝福透着缕缕墨香的对联，玲珑剔透大小不一的红灯笼，结构精巧外观漂亮的红红的中国结，它们共同组成了一道春节前最亮丽的风景，在冷冷的冬天里平添了一丝丝红色的暖色调，让我的眼睛为之一亮。

“卖花了，有漂亮的蝴蝶兰!”顺着声音我看到了一位卖花的姑娘，在花摊面前围了不少人，我挤过去也想凑凑热闹。这是一片花的海洋，有名贵的君子兰，有漂亮的蝴蝶兰，有绿意盎然的富贵竹，还有许多叫不上名的盆花------这些姹紫嫣红的花朵在绿叶的陪衬下显得生机勃勃，连空气中都弥漫着花的香味。不少人笑嘻嘻的购买自己喜爱的盆花，几乎用不着讨价还价，很快就销售一空。他们把美丽带回家，把快乐带回家，也把春天带回了家。

春节像刚落地的娃娃，从头到脚都是新的;春节像花枝招展的小姑娘，笑着向我们走来。
